Southern Spain, So Spain!

This vast region of southern Spain known as Andalusia is where Phoenician sailors traded their wares and the Romans established thriving cities and seaports. Later ruled by the Moors for nearly 800 years, it is not only rich in Muslim heritage but also Jewish and Christian. This is clearly reflected in the ancient Baeza Synagogue, the great Mosque of Cordoba, the Alhambra Palace and the Seville Cathedral among countless other sites throughout the region!

Today Andalusia mirrors the classic image of Spain with colorful religious celebrations, gypsy caravans, fiery flamenco music, sangria and tapas! From Cadiz to Malaga and the white hill towns you will find yourselves immersed in Spain’s authentic tapas culture; great food, fine wine, good vibes and lots of fun! Andalusia is also Spain’s primary olive oil producing region in a country that is the largest producer of olive oil in the world!

Southern Spain also offers an abundance of outdoor adventure from whitewater rafting, snowboarding and rock climbing to ocean adventure. The numerous guided hikes along ancient trading and supply routes with spectacular scenery and vistas is another one of our specialties!

Whatever you like, we will set the stage for your Southern Spain adventure – personally arranging everything for you!
